WWE RAW Highlights And Match Results- 29th June 2020

We bring you the WWE RAW Highlights and match results held on 29th June 2020. The Monday Night RAW begins with the brawl between Shasha Banks and Asuka. Samoa Joe was in charge of the show. And we have two contracts signing- one for WWE Championship between Drew and Dolph and the other is between Asuka and Shasha for WWE RAW Women’s Championship.

Next, we see Dolph Ziggler was coming, and he called Drew McIntyre. A promo was made on McIntyre’s career, Dolph just cut the promo and said he would finish him off before he even signs for the match contract officially.

As champions and challengers were present inside the ring, it was entirely implicit that things will get wild. All thanks to Seth Rollins; otherwise, we would have expected more chaos. The Show was already overflowing with so many big moments and matches, and fans have no clue what is coming next.

Seth Rollins was asked to come at the ring and ask for forgiveness to Rey Mysterio for injuring his eye badly before. But it turned out to be that Rollins is not in a mood for an apology. In fact, he told Mysterio that he will tear him into the pieces if he again dares to step in the ring with him.

Both Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio are looking serious to have a match at WWE Extreme Rules 2020. Though it’s not an official announcement yet, we will have to wait.

WWE RAW Highlights And Match Results 29th June 2020- Few Weeks Left For Extreme Rules

Monday Night WWE RAW was about contract signing. We saw champions of both men and women’s division started getting their opponents for the Extreme Rules 2020 officially. WWE this time has a subtitle for its event, “The Horror Show.” Already WWE has created enough of thrill in the minds of its fans.

During the Show, the names of Ric Flair and Big Show were announced as they gave the special appearance, although fans were not surprised as they were already involved in the feud between Edge and Randy Orton.

All WWE fans have been desperately waiting for the signing of a double contract. It is confirmed that at Extreme Rules 2020, Asuka and Sasha Banks compete with each other and are likely to become the show-stealer on the PPV event. Another title match would be between Dolph and Drew.

Ric Flair and Big Show declared that they would have their presence in the Show. Randy Orton was still in the background and just holding on to strike.

Let’s go ahead and check out what happened to this week’s RAW- highlights, match winners, and results-

1. The Viking Raiders vs. Andrade & Angel Garza

As we return to RAW, we saw the match was already started, and Ivar and Erik were dominating at first. They were using each other in the form of a weapon before Andrade and Garza were hitting tandem kicks. Both Andrade and Garza began fighting over the tag, and later Andrade left the ring.

Garza was in complete shock to see this; Vega was putting efforts to bring Andrade back inside the ring for the match. After we return from the break, Andrade was present inside the ring and got hit by Erik’s on the face. Ivar now leads both Garza and Andrade down to the floor, but Angel Garza hits a dropkick.

By now, the Viking Raiders have already lost their finishers. The referee was distracted by Andrade, while Garza was hitting a shot out of the ring. Back inside the ring, Erik got hit by the Garza’s Wing Clipper; meanwhile, Andrade stooped Ivar and did not let him break the pin.

Result: Angel Garza and Andrade wins the match

2. R-Truth vs. Akira Tozawa (c) 24/7 Champion

R-Truth moved Akira outside very quickly, but when he returned, he got rolled up by Truth. Interestingly, after the few seconds of the start of the match, R-Truth got the three counts. Now the new 24/7 champion is R-Truth.

Result: R-Truth wins the match. Now he is the new 24/7 champion.

3. Humberto Carrillo & Aleister Black vs. Seth Rollins & Murphy

The match starts with a promo, and we see that Aleister and Murphy were up before others. Aleister then took Murphy down, and then Aleister was getting cornered by Murphy. Soon Humberto got tagged in, and he hits a crossbody before Seth Rollins got tagged in and was sent to the ropes.

Seth Rollins pulled Murphy before Humberto took both of them outside the ring by making a huge dive. After returning to the RAW again, Black had missed the Black Mass, but he had received another chance to try. Humberto then hit 619 on Murphy, and Seth Rollins broke the pin.

Set Rollins got tagged in, and they were hitting their combined finishers on Humberto, but he somehow managed to kick out. Aleister and Murphy were fighting outside the ring, and Humberto got hit by Rollins as he hits a Stomp on him.

Result: Murphy and Seth Rollins win the match

4. Ruby Riott vs. Peyton Royce

Kay’s distraction gives Peyton a chance to hit a big kick and get the upper hand. Ruby got cornered by Peyton, Ruby’s shoulders got hurt as Peyton was working on the joints by making use of ropes. Peyton then hit a suplex and got a near fall. Kay ran for the second distraction, and this made Ruby miss her finisher. Peyton Royce wins the match at RAW by hitting a spinning brainbuster.

5. Angel Garza & Andrade vs. Big Show- 2-on-1 Handicapped Match

This time both Angel Garza and Andrade were hesitating to get inside the ring. Angel Garza started the match but soon got hit with the chops. When Andrade gets inside the rings, he got hit by the same.

Angel Garza succeeded in taking the Big Showdown to the floor with the help of his knees, but after a few seconds, Show got up again. Andrade got tagged in, and he and Garza were still bickering, but after a few minutes, Angel Garza left the ring. Now Andrade was all alone going with the Show.

Big Show hits a chokeslam before he hits a KO punch on Andrade.

Result: Big Show wins the match

6. MVP vs. Apollo Crews

The match starts, and Apollo Crews hits a dropkick and also tossed MVP. When we return to the RAW, MVP capitalize after Bobby Lashley ran a distraction. This made Apollo Crews move away and drop the ropes.

We see that now MVP was hitting a big boot and then a fisherman’s suplex. He got three counts after this. Not to miss what we see after the match. MVP and Apollo got involved in a feud, and Apollo started attacking him. Ricochet and Cedric Alexander have to intrude in between to save him.

Result: MVP wins the match

7. Bobby Lashley vs. Ricochet

It was an unplanned match between Lashley and Ricochet. Both were fighting on RAW as we return, and Lashley just tossed aside Ricochet. Both players were out of the ring, and Bobby moved Ricochet to the barrier before he hits a big move inside the ring. Bobby then tossed Ricochet around the ring and then inside the ring.

Now Ricochet was fighting off the Full Nelson, and Bobby was sent to the ropes. Ricochet hit standing moonsault before MVP was taken to ringside by the Alexander. Lashley’s ears started bleeding as he tried to lock in the Full Nelson.

Result: Bobby Lashley wins the match

8. Sasha Banks and Dolph Ziggler vs. Asuka and Drew McIntyre

Dolph was picked up by Drew and was dropped as Dolph hits an early Famouser. Dolph Ziggler announced for a tag, and Asuka enters the ring, and Ziggler was trying to save Sasha Banks from Asuka lock.

After the break, we see that Ziggler was getting wiped out before the women were inside the ring, and Asuka received a near fall. Asuka was distracted by Bayley, and Shasha Banks got the pin almost. Now, tags were again made, and McIntyre was back. It was now Sasha Banks who was taking the tag forcefully.

Shasha Banks started shouting at McIntyre, and Asuka went behind the Banks and kicked her. Both Sasha Banks and Asuka were trading submissions, but it was Sasha who managed to roll her up and marks her victory at RAW.

Result: Sasha Banks & Dolph Ziggler wins the match
