SummerSlam is the second biggest PPV event in the WWE Calendar after Wrestlemania. And this year, it will take place in Brooklyn, New York city. The event is expected to have a full house and would be worth entertaining for four hours.

WWE SummerSlam 2017 Match Card Predictions

There were total nine matches in the last year’s SummerSlam main card and considering the same structure, I think this will be the match card for this year:

Remember all the matches, fight cards are a prediction at this time, no matches have been confirmed yet. I will update the list as matches are confirmed.

SummerSlam 2017 Match Predictions

Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar Vs Roman Reigns Vs Braun Strowman Vs Samoa Joe:

Brock Lesnar is the current Universal Champion who defeated Goldberg at Wrestlemania and seems like these other superstars are not going to allow any one to fight Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

All the other three wrestlers are looking for an opportunity at SummerSlam to challenge Brock Lesnar and hence I assume it would be a fatal-four way match this year for the title.

If it happens, Roman Reigns is likely to win the title.

WWE Championship: Jindar Mahal Vs John Cena:

After the Battleground, if Jinder Mahal retained his title against Randy Orton, then surely the next contender who is going to challenge Mahal would be John Cena and this would be great chance for Cena to break the record of Rick Flair to win the most WWE titles.

Though to be careful, Corbin who is the current holder of Money in the Bank might interrupt in the match and cash his money in the bank.

John Cena is likely to win the championship.

United States Championship: AJ Styles Vs Shinsuke Nakamura

After the debut of Nakamura, he has a huge fan following now and no doubt he is one of the toughest competitors in the ring at this time.

He could challenge AJ Styles for the United States Championship and become a new title holder this year at SummerSlam 2017.

Final Take!
